Merchandise

In the effort to maintain Wolff's Flea Market's 20-year reputation a high quality destination, we work for hours each week to investigate various product trends.  We love to see customers proudly leaving with a sought after relic or a wagon full of great bargains. What we don't like, and don't allow are the sales of counterfeit merchandise! Our vigilance is paying off, and you will not see booths filled with fake designer purses, sunglasses, etc. However, we are ever watchful, and if we see even 1 questionable item-we require you to remove it from your table.

As a seller-new or veteran- you should just stay away from any bulk deal to purchase high end and/or designer products that seems too good to be true. Most designers only sell their products to authorized dealers-not directly to the public and not online at supposed wholesale sites. There are thousands of websites that can help you learn about counterfeit merchandise and the legal problems it can cause for you. Please be smart and know how to not get stuck with a load of illegal merchandise and no way to sell it. You should also research the common brands that are counterfeited, and stay away from them. Selling nice looking generic or no-name products is acceptable, legal and is the trend for you to follow.

But what about the baby? We have taken it upon ourselves to make a no-baby furniture policy. And we were spot on, because now many of these types of items are recalled, or not even legal to sell anywhere. Drop-side cribs are no longer being made or sold and Chicago just outlawed the sale of crib bumper pads. We don't allow used OR new cribs, playpens, strollers, car seats, high chairs, wheeled walkers, playpens, crib bumper pads because of recalls and safety.

IN SUMMARY:

Don't bring it, don't sell it, don't buy it. We look for it and will require you to put it away, or may even ask you to leave the market.

If we have not yet seen a particular banned item, customers, please let a staff person know so that we may take proper action.

Thanks for reading this blunt and truthful statement from Wolff's Flea Market
